Established in 1960, we have been dedicated to bringing you the highest quality seed with the best-performing genetics in the area. From the beginning, PSI has been about producing quality seed that is best suited for the local area. Merlyn Petermann started with certified oats in 1960 with his sights set on becoming the area's authority in seed conditioning and processing. In 1975, the grain handling system was updated adding a grain leg, bulk bins, and a small pit. In 1992, the first gravity table was installed on the farm; a second was added in 1995.

In 2000, we remodeled the seed conditioning facility. The facility grew in size with a larger pit, bulk bins, and overhead bins. With a company committed to processing quality seed, updates are a necessity and a priority.
